Carolynn Trepasso, M.A., CCC-SLP, received her B.A. from University of
San Diego and M.A. from University of the Pacific. She is a member of the
American Speech and Hearing Association and the California Speech and Hearing
Association. She has received 7 Awards for Continuing Education (ACE) from
ASHA. Her emphasis in continuing education has focused on apraxia, stuttering,
and autism.
In striving to provide the most up-to-date treatment, some of her
continuing education courses have included: The Speech-EZ® Apraxia Program,
Prompt-Level 1, Beckman Oral Motor Therapy, Oral Placement Therapy, Picture
Exchange Communication System-Level 1, Kaufman Speech Praxis Treatment,
Floortime/DIR, Miller Method for treating Autism, Affect-Based Learning
Curriculum, Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk, and LINKS to Language.
Carolynn has worked in the Coronado Unified School system for the past 31 years
and in private practice for 24 years. Her clients have ranged in age from 2-22
years. She has treated a wide range of speech/language disorders. Each day she
enjoys working with her clients helping them to achieve their voice.
